After the expiry of the set switch-off time, the
electric underblanket no longer provides heat
and the function indicator starts to flash. To
heat up the electric underblanket again, set the
temperature setting switch

first to setting 0
and then choose the desired temperature setting.

FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before
cleaning, always pull the plug of the
electric underblanket out of the mains socket and
separate the plug-in connector

to detach the
control unit

from the electric underblanket
(see Fig. B).

Reconnect the control unit

to the
electric underblanket only if the
plug-in connector

and the electric under-
blanket are completely dry. Otherwise there is
a risk of electric shock.

RISK OF MATERIAL DAMAGE!
Under no circumstances switch on
the electric underblanket to dry it.
j Use a dry, fluff-free cloth to clean and care for
the electric underblanket and the control unit

j You can dampen the cloth or moisten it with a
little mild liquid detergent.
j Do not use chemical cleaners or scouring
agents to clean the electric underblanket or the
control unit

. Otherwise the electric under-
blanket could be damaged.
j Never immerse the control unit

in water or
other liquids. Otherwise you may damage it.
j
The electric underblanket is machine-
washable. Set the washing machine to
a gentle washing program at 40 °C.
j Use a mild detergent at the dose recommended
by the manufacturer.
j Please note that the electric underblanket may
degrade through too frequent washing. The
electric underblanket should be washed in a
washing machine no more than 5 times over its
whole lifetime.
J RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE
PRODUCT! Note that the electric
underblanket must not be dry cle
aned,
wrung out, tumbledried, put through a mangle
or ironed. Otherwise the electric underblanket
could be damaged.

PRODUCT! Do not attach the elec-
trical underblanket to washing lines
with washing pegs or the like. Otherwise the
electric underblanket could be damaged.

Storage
J RISK OF MATERIAL DAMAGE!
Before putting it away, let the electric
underblanket cool. Otherwise material
damage could occur.
j Do not sharply bend the electric underblanket.
j Do not put other objects on top of the electric
underblanket during storage.
j If the electric underblanket is not to be used for
some time, store it in the original packaging in
a dry environment and do not place any objects
on top of it.

Disposal
The packaging and ancillary packing
consist of environmentally friendly mate-
rials. They can be disposed of at your
local recycling facility.
Do not dispose of electrical
devices with the household
rubbish!
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EC
(covering waste electrical and electronic equipment)
and its transposition into national legislation, worn-
out electrical devices must be collected separately
and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.
