9. Disposal

Device

The symbol showing a wheelie bin crossed

through indicates that the product requires sepa-

rate refuse collection in the European Union. This

applies to the product and all accessories

marked with this symbol. Products identified with

this symbol may not be discarded with normal

household waste, but have to be taken to a col-

lection point for recycling electric and electronic appliances. Recy-

cling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials and protect

the environment. For information on disposal and the location of

the nearest recycling yard, contact e.g. your City Cleaning Depart-

ment or refer to the Yellow Pages.

Packaging

Keep the packaging during the warranty period so that if you have

a claim under the warranty you are able to return the product safe-

ly packed.

When disposing of the packaging, make sure you comply with the

environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Batteries

Batteries must not be disposed off in the household

waste. Used batteries must be disposed of proper-

ly. For this purpose, corresponding battery-dispos-

al containers are available at battery-selling retail

and wholesale stores, as well as local collection

points.
