9.4 Tasty lentil stew
Ingredients:
400g lentils, washed and drained
1 can of tomatoes in pieces (or 400g
fresh tomatoes, skinned and diced)
1l beef stock
450ml water
1carrot cut into small pieces
1celery stalk or 150 g celeriac,
chopped
750 g strongly flavoured sausage, such
as cabanossi or krakowska (krakauer),
sliced
Preparation:
1. Put all the ingredients in the cooking pot.
2. Put the lid in place.
3. Cook on “HIGH” for about 3h, on
AUTO” for about 5h, or on LOW
for about 6-7 h.
10. Cleaning
Warning! To prevent the risk of
an electric shock, injury or
damage:
disconnect the power supply
from the socket before any
cleaning step;
allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning it;
never immerse base 5 in water.
Caution! Under no circumstances use
scouring agents or corrosive or abrasive
cleaning materials, as these could damage
the appliance.
10.1Cleaning the base
1. Clean base 5 with a damp cloth. A little
washing-up liquid may also be used.
2. Wipe off with clean water.
3. Do not use the appliance again until it is
completely dry.
10.2Cleaning the accessories
Clean the lid 1 and cooking pot 3 by hand
in the sink.
11. Disposal
11.1 Appliance
The symbol with the crossed-
out rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the
product and all accessories which are
marked with this symbol. Marked products
must not be disposed of via the regular
domestic waste but must be handed in to a
recycling centre for electrical or electronic
devices. Recycling helps to reduce the use of
raw materials and to relieve the
environment. It is therefore imperative that
you follow the disposal regulations
applicable in your country.
