Never touch the mains cable and the oil-filled radiator with wet hands because there is a risk
of an electric shock!
This oil-filled radiator can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the oil-filled radiator and
understand the resulting risks. Children must not play with the oil-filled radiator. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision. Children who are
younger than 3 years of age must be kept away from the device unless they are constantly
supervised. Children aged at least 3 and younger than 8 may only switch the oil-filled
radiator on and off when they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the
oil-filled radiator and understand the resulting risks, provided that the oil-filled radiator is
placed or installed where it is normally used. Children aged at least 3 and younger than 8
must not insert the plug into the mains socket, regulate the oil-filled radiator, clean it and/or
perform user maintenance.
Caution - some parts of the oil-filled radiator can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular caution is required when children and vulnerable persons are present. Small parts
can be fatal if swallowed. Always keep plastic packaging out of reach also. It poses a
suffocation risk.
WARNING! This oil-filled radiator is equipped with a device to control the room
temperature, but it maybe not operate when setting at the extreme position. Do not use this
oil-filled radiator in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving
the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or odours, disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket immediately. In these cases, the oil-filled radiator should not be used
until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. Never inhale smoke from a
potential device fire. If you have inhaled smoke, however, consult a doctor. The inhalation of
smoke can be harmful.
Ensure that no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed on or near the oil-filled radiator.
It poses a fire hazard!
This radiator is filled with a specific volume of special oil. If damaged or if oil leaks, the oil-
filled radiator must not be used in order to prevent hazards. Have the device checked by the
customer service representative or a similarly qualified person and repaired if necessary.
Avoid contact with dripping water and splashes and corrosive liquids. Do not use the oil-
filled radiator near water (e. g. bath, shower, swimming pool or sink). In particular, the oil-
filled radiator should never be submerged in liquid (do not place any items filled with liquid,
e.g. vases or drinks, on the oil-filled radiator). Also ensure that the oil-filled radiator is never
subjected to excessive shocks and vibrations. Furthermore, no foreign objects may penetrate
the device. Otherwise, the oil-filled radiator could be damaged and there is a risk of an
electric shock!
