6. How to use
6.1 First steps
Remove all packing material.
Check to ensure that all parts are pre-
sent and undamaged.
Clean all parts which come into contact
with food (see “Cleaning” on page 7).
6.2 Assembly
1. Place the base station11 on a dry, lev-
el, non-slip surface. The work surface
should be easy to clean.
NOTE: if the base station11 is tilted, adjust
it by turning the adjusting screws on the
feet7 to make it stand level.
2. Place the basin parts8 /9 for the fruit
around the base station11. The power
cable6 must be lead through the open-
ing14 of the basin part8. Connect the
basin parts by pressing the ends of the
basin8 onto the ends of the other ba-
sin9.
3. Stick the screw conveyor3 with the suit-
able opening facing downwards onto
the axis4.
4. Position the cascade element1 in the
bowl12 in a way that the openings on
the feet2 fit onto the three pins13.
5. Insert the mains plug6 into a wall sock-
et corresponding to the specifications of
the rating plate.
7. Operation
WARNING
Ensure that no solid elements (e.g. fruit,
hard chocolate) block the screw convey-
or3. If this does occur, immediately
switch off the device, as the motor may
be damaged.
NOTES:
Melt the chocolate before adding it to
the chocolate fountain. Melting it in the
fountain takes too long.
The maximum filling volume is 450 ml.
1. Heat the pure chocolate. For one batch
approx. 450 g.
This is ideally done in a water bath or in
the microwave. When heating in a nor-
mal pan, ensure that you are only work-
ing at low temperatures to prevent the
chocolate from burning.
2. In the case that the melted chocolate
does not seem fluid enough, add vege-
table oil until the desired consistency
has been achieved and mix thoroughly.
3. Check whether the chocolate has melt-
ed completely. No solid parts must re-
main.
4. Turn the function switch10 on the de-
vice to . The control lamp5 lights up.
The bowl12 is now being heated to
keep the chocolate fluid after pouring it
in. Wait approx. 2-3 minutes before
pouring in the chocolate.
5. Place the food items you want to cover
in chocolate into the basin8 /9.
6. Pour the chocolate into the bowl12. If
necessary, use a rubber spatula.
7. Turn the function switch10 on the de-
vice to . The screw conveyor3 starts
to turn and conveys the chocolate up-
wards. There, it runs over the tip and
then over the cascade1 back down
into the bowl12.
