18.Remove the mains plug after every use.

20.If you wish to discard the oil or fat,

The times given in the above table are guide
values applicable to a quantity of 100-
150 g. Frying times may differ with other
quantities and depending on the type of
food.
7.3 Prepare fondue
1. Prepare the fryer for fondue (see
“6.2 Preparations for fondue” on
page 62).
2. Turn the temperature selector 12 to
"MIN".
3. Insert the plug in a socket.
The red indicator light 10 comes on to
show that the appliance is connected to
the power supply.
4. Add oil, fat or broth (see “6.3 Add the
oil or fat” on page 62).
Caution! The appliance is not suitable
for chocolate or cheese fondue.
5. If the fryer contains cold, solidified fat,
melt it first (see “6.4 Melt existing fat”
on page 62).
6. Set the temperature selector 12 to the
desired temperature for fondue.
The appliance heats up. As soon as the
temperature selected is reached, the

To keep the oil, fat or broth at the right
temperature, the thermostat
automatically switches the heating on
and off. You can see this by the
temperature indicator light 11 regularly
going on and off.
Note: We recommend that you heat the oil
for at least between 10 and 15 minutes
before you start the fondue.
7. Once you have finished the fondue, turn
the temperature selector 12 to the
