Inhoud van het pakket controleren

Controleer voorafgaand aan ingebruikname of de

levering compleet is en geen zichtbare schade heeft.

Neem contact op met de Service-Hotline (zie het

hoofdstuk “Service”) als het pakket niet compleet is,

of indien er sprake is van schade door gebrekkige

verpakking of transport. Haal alle onderdelen uit de

verpakking en verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal

van het apparaat.

Bediening en gebruik

Autohouder monteren

♦ Sluit de autostekker 3 aan op het stroomcircuit van

uw voertuig (sigarettenaansteker). Het indicatie-

lampje 4 geeft aan dat het apparaat gereed is.

LET OP

► Bij voertuigen waarbij de sigarettenaansteker

ook bij uitgeschakelde ontsteking werkt, moet

het apparaat na gebruik worden losgekoppeld

van de sigarettenaansteker. Anders kan de

voertuigaccu na langere tijd ontladen raken,

omdat het apparaat ook in de rusttoestand

stroom verbruikt.

Mobiele telefoon in de autohouder

plaatsen

♦ Druk de mobiele telefoon op de linker houderklem

en trek de rechter houderklem zo ver uit dat de mo-

biele telefoon in de houder 1 kan worden geplaatst.

Laat daarna de rechter houderklem weer los.

♦ Trek de rechter houderklem opzij om de mobiele

telefoon uit de houder 1 te verwijderen.

Mobiele telefoon richten

♦ Met de ﬂ exibele stang 2 en het 360° draaibare

kogelscharnier kunt u de houder in horizontale en

verticale richting aanpassen aan uw behoeften.

Mobiele telefoon opladen

♦ Sluit de benodigde USB-kabel 678 aan op een

van de USB-aansluitingen 5 op de autostekker 3

en de mobiele telefoon. Het opladen start auto-

matisch.

Zekering vervangen

In de autostekker bevindt zich een zekering ter beveili-

ging van het stroomcircuit van het voertuig. Controleer,

als het apparaat niet meer functioneert, de zekering en

vervang deze zo nodig.

♦ Open de autostekker door het schroeﬁ nzetstuk,

eventueel met een tang, voorzichtig tegen de

wijzers van de klok in open te draaien en uit de

stekker te nemen.

♦ Haal de stekkerpunt van de zekering af en verwijder

de zekering.

♦ Plaats nu een nieuwe zekering van het type

F2AL/250V in de autostekker, zet de stekkerpunt

op het licht uitstekende uiteinde van de zekering

en draai het tevoren uitgenomen schroeﬁ nzetstuk

weer in de stekker.

OPMERKING

►

Als het apparaat nog steeds niet functioneert,

of de nieuwe zekering meteen weer doorbrandt,

is er sprake van een defect aan het apparaat.

Neem in dat geval contact op met de Service-

Hotline (zie hoofdstuk “Service”).

Reinigen

LET OP

►

Koppel het apparaat los van de sigarettenaan-

steker voordat u het reinigt en wanneer u het

niet gebruikt.

■ Reinig het apparaat zo nodig met een zachte doek.

Controleer periodiek de toestand van het appa-

raat. Gebruik het apparaat niet meer wanneer u

beschadigingen constateert.

Afvoeren

Het symbool hiernaast met een doorgekruiste

vuilnisbak geeft aan dat dit apparaat is onder-

worpen aan de Richtlijn 2012/19/EU. Deze

richtlijn stelt dat u dit apparaat aan het einde van

zijn levensduur niet met het normale huisvuil mag af-

voeren, maar moet inleveren bij speciaal hiervoor

bestemde inzamelpunten, milieuparken of afvalver-

werkingsbedrijven.

Dit afvoeren is voor u kosteloos. Spaar het milieu

en voer producten op een voor het milieu ver-

antwoorde manier af. Neem voor meer informatie

contact op met uw lokale afvalverwerkingsbedrijf of

uw gemeentereiniging.

Voer alle verpakkingsmaterialen op een voor

het milieu verantwoorde manier af.

Garantie

U hebt op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aan-

koopdatum. Het apparaat is met de grootst mogelijke

zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering

nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.

Bewaar a.u.b. de kassabon als aankoopbewijs.

Neem telefonisch contact op met uw servicepunt, mocht

u aanspraak willen maken op de garantie. Alleen

op die manier is een kosteloze verzending van uw

product gegarandeerd.

OPMERKING

►

De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor materiaal-

of fabricagefouten, echter niet voor transport-

schade, aan slijtage onderhevige delen of voor

beschadigingen van breekbare delen, bijv.

schakelaars of accu's.

Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik

en niet voor bedrijfsmatige doeleinden. Bij verkeerd

gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling, bij gebruik

van geweld en bij reparaties die niet door ons

geautoriseerd serviceﬁ liaal zijn uitgevoerd, vervalt

de garantie.

Uw wettelijke rechten worden door deze garantie niet

beperkt. De garantieperiode wordt door deze waar-

borg niet verlengd. Dat geldt ook voor vervangen en

gerepareerde onderdelen.

Eventueel al bij aankoop aanwezige schade en gebre-

ken moeten meteen na het uitpakken worden gemeld,

echter uiterlijk twee dagen na de aankoopdatum.

Voor reparaties na aﬂ oop van de garantieperiode

worden kosten in rekening gebracht.

The car cradle is an information electronics device

and is used for holding mobile phones (and other

5 V devices with a USB connection*) in the car and

charging them at the same time. The car cradle is only

suitable for vehicles with a cigarette lighter.

Any other use is considered to be improper, and can

result in damage and injuries. Claims of any kind for

damage resulting from improper use or unauthorised

modiﬁ cations will not be considered. This product is for

private use only, and is not intended for commercial use.

This applies especially to storage in a car.

If the car is at a standstill for longer periods and

the weather is warm with solar irradiation, high

temperatures occur in the car interior and the glove

compartment. Remove electrical and electronic

devices from the vehicle.

■ When ﬁ tting the cradle, ensure that it does not get

in the way of steering, braking or the deployment

of other vehicle systems (such as airbags) and

does not restrict your ﬁ eld of view when driving.

■ Do not place the car cradle in the airbag

unfolding area or the vicinity thereof, since

the cradle would be ﬂ ung through the

vehicle interior in the event of airbag deployment,

which could cause serious injuries.

■ Ensure that the cradle is not installed in a location

in which you could come into contact with it in the

event of an accident or collision.

■ All of the applicable laws in your location must

be observed. Your hands must ALWAYS be free to

operate the vehicle safely when you are driving.

Traﬃ c safety must ALWAYS take priority whilst

driving. Only use this cradle if no hazard can

occur in any driving situation whatsoever.

■ Please also pay attention to your mobile phone/

equipment operating manual.

■ If you notice a burning smell or smoke coming

from your device, disconnect it from the cigarette

lighter immediately.

■ Under no circumstances must the smoke

be inhaled, since this could be harmful to

your health.

Check the scope of delivery

Before starting to use the device, check that all items

are present and undamaged. If any items are missing

or damaged as a result of defective packaging or

transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter

"Service"). Remove all parts from the packaging, and

then remove all packaging material from the device.

Handling and operation

Fitting the car cradle

♦ Connect the car connector 3 to your vehicle

onboard power supply (cigarette lighter).

The signal lamp 4 indicates that the device is

ready for operation.

CAUTION

►

In vehicles in which the cigarette lighter also

works with the ignition switched oﬀ , the device

must be disconnected from the cigarette lighter

after use. Otherwise, the vehicle battery may be

discharged over a long period of time, since the

device also uses power when it is idle.

Inserting your mobile phone into the car

cradle

♦ Press the mobile phone against the left-hand jaw

of the cradle and then pull out the right-hand jaw

until the mobile phone can be inserted into the

cradle 1. Then release the right-hand jaw of the

cradle.

♦ To remove the mobile phone from the cradle 1,

pull the right-hand jaw out a little.

Aligning the mobile phone

♦ You can use the swan neck 2 and the 360° rotat-

ing ball joint to adapt the cradle to your require-

ments in both a horizontal and vertical direction.

Charging the mobile phone

♦ Connect the required USB cable 678 to one

of the USB connections 5 on the car connector 3

and the mobile phone. The charging function starts

automatically

Changing the fuse

There is a fuse in the vehicle connector for protecting

the vehicle's on-board power supply. If the device no

longer works, check the fuse and replace if necessary.

♦ Open the vehicle connector by carefully unscrewing

the screw insert anticlockwise (using pliers if neces-

sary) and removing it.

♦ Remove the plug tip from the fuse and take out the

fuse.

♦ Now insert a new fuse of type F2AL/250V into

the vehicle connector, ﬁ t the plug tip to the slightly

protruding end of the fuse and screw the previously

removed screw insert back in.

NOTE

►

If the device still does not work or the fuse blows

again immediately, the device is defective.

In this case, please contact the Service Hotline

(see chapter "Service").

Cleaning

CAUTION

►

Always disconnect the device from the cigarette

lighter when cleaning and when it is not being

used.

■ When necessary clean the device with a soft cloth.

Check the condition of the device at regular inter-

vals. Do not continue to use the device if you notice

any damage

Disposal

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie

bin means that this device is subject to Directive

2012/19/EU. This directive states that this

device may not be disposed of in normal household

waste at the end of its usable life, but must be handed

over to specially set-up collection locations, recycling

depots or disposal companies.

This disposal is free of charge for the user.

Protect the environment and dispose of this device

properly. You can obtain further information from

your local disposal company or the city or municipal

administration.

You should return all packaging materials for

environmentally-friendly disposal.

Warranty

The warranty provided for this device is 3 years from

the date of purchase. This device has been manufac-

tured with care and inspected meticulously prior to

delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In

the event of a warranty claim, please contact your

Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way

to guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

►

The warranty only covers claims for material

and manufacturing defects, not for transport

damage, worn parts or damage to fragile

components such as buttons or batteries.

This product is intended solely for private use and not

for commercial purposes. The warranty is deemed

void if this product has been subjected to improper or

inappropriate handling, abuse or modiﬁ cations which

were not carried out by one of our authorised service

centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by

this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged

by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies

to replaced and repaired parts.

Damage and defects present at the time of purchase

must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no

later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are

chargeable.
