Please note that the device does not switch off automatically
when in the keep hot function. You should therefore never
leave the device unattended!
As soon as you take the kettle off the base 3, the ON/OFF switch 2
click
s up and the integrated control lamp goes out.
To interrupt the heating process, press the ON/OFF switch 2 back
up. The indicator lamp also goes out.
Do not set t
he temperature regulator 5 in the transition area
between the "keep hot range" (black) and the "boiling range"
(red) since the water can start to boil due to the diff erence in
water levels.
INFORMATION
This appliance is fi tted with an overheating protector: if the appliance is
switched on accidentally
, without any water in the kettle, the appliance
automatically switches itself off .
If, for example due to a non-closed lid the appliance boils dry, the appliance
switches off automatically.
In such cases fi rst allow the appliance to cool down before using it again.
Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!

Do not open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable elements
inside. An open housing will cr
eate the risk of a potentially fatal electrical

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! You could
receive a fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into contact with
live components during operation.

Let the appliance cool suffi

Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack
