26 Trouble-Shooting
Problem Cause Solution
Battery not correctly inserted.
Insert the battery correctly (see
page 9).
Camera cannot be switched
on.
Battery not charged.
Use the mains supply or USB
cable to charge the battery (see
page 10).
The device switches on, but
then switches off again after
a short time.
The battery is not charged
sufficiently.
Use the mains supply or USB
cable to charge the battery (see
page 10).
The camera switches itself
off automatically.
uto Off is activated, and the
camera switches off automatically
after a predefined time.
Set Auto Off to meet your
requirements (see page 28).
The ambient temperature is too
low.
Do not use the video camera in
extreme temperatures.
The battery is overcharged.
If the battery only stays
charged for a very short time
after you have charged it, you
must replace the mains
adapter. To do this, contact the

of the manual).
The battery has exceeded its
lifetime.
