Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power
sockets supplying a mains power voltage of
220 - 240 V
~
/ 50 Hz.
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or
power cables to be replaced at once by qualifi ed
technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► In the event of operating malfunctions, and be-
fore cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug
from the mains power socket.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug
from the socket, do not pull the power cable itself.
► Do not crimp or crush the power cable and lay
it in such a way as to prevent anyone from step-
ping on or tripping over it.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become
wet or moist during use. Place it such that it can-
not be crushed or damaged.
► Should the appliance become damaged, to avoid
personal risks discontinue the use of it immediately.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appli-
ance and protect it from being damaged.
► To enable you to disconnect the appliance
quickly in the event of an emergency, do not use
extension cables.
► NEVER grasp the appliance, the power cable or
the plug with wet hands.
