3) Select the appropriate temperature for your hair:
130 - 140°C, minimum heat level, for very fi ne hair.
140 - 160°C, low heat level, for fi ne hair.
160 - 180°C, medium heat level, for normal hair.
180°C- MAX, highest heat level, for thick or diffi cult to shape hair
.
Press the temperature button 2 on the side marked “+” to increase the
temperature. Press the temperature button 2 on the side marked “ -” to
reduce the temperature.
4) As soon as the display 1 colours itself blue, the programmed temperature
has been reached.
5) Press the hotplates 6 together and, at the same time, press the locking
device 4 on the side
in. The hair straightener can now be opened.
NOTICE
This appliance has a memory function. This means that, every time the
appliance is switched on, the temperature set at the last use is the star
t
temperature.
Straightening hair
NOTICE
This Hair Straightener is equipped with an ionising function. The ionisation
function ensures that a static charging of the hair is neutr
alised and can-
celled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style. The ionisa-
tion function is activated automatically when you use the Hair Straightener.
1) Prepare the hair as described in “Before straightening”.
2) Start with the lower hair segments at the back of the head. Work over the
sides to the front:
Separate a 2 cm wide strand of hair and then hold the end fi rmly between
the index and middle fi ngers of the hand with which you are not guiding the
Hair Straightener.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Ensure that the hotplates 6 do not make contact with the skin of the head.
Risk of Burns! During operation, y
ou may only take hold of the appliance
by the handle! Risk of Burns!
3) Clamp the hair strand between the hotplates 6 close to the skin and then
press them together.
4) Pull the whole strand of hair through the hotplates 6 by pulling the straight-
ener down quickly from the roots to the tips.
