damage, or if the hair straightener
was used improperly, and switch
it off immediately in the event of
defects or malfunctions. In this
case, return it to the dealer before

When using the hair straightener
in the bathroom, unplug after
use as the proximity of water
presents a hazard, even with the
hair straightener switched off.
Never immerse the hair straight-
ener in water. Never reach for a
device which has dropped into
water and is still connected to
the mains socket. Unplug imme-
diately. For added protection we
recommend installing an earth
leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)
with a rated trigger current not
to exceed 30 mA into the
