Intended use

This ﬁ sheye lens for smartphones is intended exclu-

sively for taking non-commercial photographs with

an extended viewing angle. The ﬁ sheye lens can

also be used in combination with a tablet or an MP3

player with a camera. This product is not intended

for commercial or industrial use. The warranty does

not provide compensation for damage caused by

improper use of the device!

Safety instructions

■ Check the device for any visible external damage

before use. Do not use a device that has been

damaged or dropped.

■ Do not use or store the ﬁ sheye lens in the vicinity

of devices that generate heat, e.g. radiators,

ovens, etc.

■ Do not store the ﬁ sheye lens in places that are

subjected to extreme temperature ﬂ uctuations.

■ Do not touch the surface of the lens with your

hands and avoid contact with sharp objects.

■ Do not drop the ﬁ sheye lens!

■ Avoid water spray and direct or indirect contact

with water.

■ Do not allow children to use the device unless they

are being supervised. Children are not always

able to correctly recognise potential dangers.

► Never put the open lens down on combustible

surfaces. Always close it using the lens cap

► The packaging material is not a plaything. Keep

plastic sheeting, bags and all other packaging

material away from children. The lens cap

Start-up

♦ Remove the ﬁ sheye lens from the supplied carrying

bag

♦ Remove all packaging materials and the protective

ﬁ lm from the device.

♦ Remove the lens cap

from the lens .

♦ Attach the retaining clip

together with the

lens

over the camera lens of your smartphone

(see Fig. 1).

NOTE

♦

Ensure that the retaining clip

is ﬁ rmly

attached.

♦ When positioning the retaining clip

, ensure

that none of the controls of the device are

covered.

♦ Make sure that there is no dirt on the retaining

clip

or the smartphone. This could cause

scratches on the smartphone housing or the

camera lens.

♦ Ensure that the ﬂ ash of the smartphone is not

covered. This will result in a dark or discoloured

image.

NOTE

♦

Depending on the type of smartphone you may

have to turn oﬀ the ﬂ ash.

♦ Bear in mind that using the additional lens

may cause a reduction in picture quality due

to possible edge blurring and vignetting.

♦ Note that you must remove your smartphone

from its protective cover.

♦ Now your smartphone is ready to take pictures

with the additional ﬁ sheye lens.

♦ Ensure that the ﬁ sheye lens is positioned centrally

over the lens of your smartphone (see Fig. 1).

♦ Remove the ﬁ sheye lens from your smartphone

after use.

♦ Protect the ﬁ sheye lens by always replacing the

lens cap

Cleaning/Storage

♦ In order to make cleaning easier, the lens can

be unscrewed from the retaining clip

♦ Clean the device using the supplied cleaning cloth

to avoid scratches.

♦ Remove stubborn dirt by moistening a cleaning

cloth with alcohol or cleaning ﬂ uid for optical

lenses and wipe the lens

with it.

Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the lens but

always onto the cleaning cloth.

♦ When the lens is not being used, keep it in the

supplied carrying bag

in a dry place.

Disposal

Dispose of the device in the normal domestic

waste.

You can obtain further information from your local

disposal company or the city or local authority.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an

environmentally friendly way.

U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig pro-

duct. De gebruiksaanwijzing maakt deel uit van dit

product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor

Dit visoogobjectief voor smartphones is uitsluitend

bedoeld voor het fotograferen met grotere invalshoek

of kijkhoek voor privégebruik. Het gebruik van het

visoogobjectief in combinatie met een tablet of een

MP3-speler met camera is bovendien mogelijk. Dit

product is niet bestemd voor bedrijfsmatig of indus-

trieel gebruik. Voor schade die voortvloeit uit het niet

reglementaire gebruik van het apparaat aanvaardt

de fabrikant geen aansprakelijkheid!
